Every year, January 28th is Data Privacy Day. This date was established in 2006 in the Council of Europe and the day, 28th January, was chosen because it was on that date that, in 1981, the Convention 108 was established. 

This Convention provides for "the protection of people with regard to the automatic processing of personal data".

In a time when data privacy is such a debated topic, it is increasingly crucial to raise awareness of the importance of protecting your data and maintaining your privacy.

The cyber attacks we have become aware are an excellent starting point to devote a day to think about Data Privacy as a priority.
